Jackie Chan arrives in Mandalay

Superstar and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador touched down in Mandalay today and was greeted with an overwhelming response.

After meeting with the UNICEF team and asking many questions about the situation of children in Myanmar, Jackie and team head off with hundreds of people cheering him all along the street. People were thrilled when Jackie smiled and waved back.
Jackie is preparing for a busy day tomorrow with visits to four different children’s projects that are supported by UNICEF.

Janine, a member of UNICEF’s team, went to the sites today and saw how excited the kids were about Jackie’s visit. Many of them have watched Jackie’s movies over and over again. They have also studied his moves and plan to show them off tomorrow!
